Fushimi Inari
Last weekend I was able to go to Kyoto and visit the Fushimi Inari shrine. It is perhaps most famous for its rows of Torii Gates, which line the path up to the shrine itself. I’m not sure exactly how many there are, but there are at least thousands of these gates along the path….

Bikan Bridge 2.0
The more I looked at it, the less happy I was with the original picture from the Bikan Quarter I put up here. So, I did it over, and I think this one looks a bit better. Hope you think so too!

More Bikan District
Here’s another photo I took from the Bikan District the other day in Kurashiki. I wish the sky had been prettier, but I like the way everything else turned out really. Hopefully I’ll get to go back some time before we leave … maybe I need to go very early in the morning (ugh).

Bikan District
Went over to Kurashiki City today (actually Kojima is a part of Kurashiki City) and got to do some photography at night in the Bikan District. Here’s one of the photos I took. I have several others, but I need time to edit them. Until then … enjoy!

Water Under the Bridge
